Project terms
Numencia Webstudio is run by Robin Maxime Briclot as a sole trader (ABN 81 665 847 885). These terms describe its website, hosting and optional changes services and apply together with the written quote for your project. The quote identifies the page plan, word allowance, inclusions, exclusions, agreed dates and amount payable. No booking, payment or agreement is made on this website: work starts only once you accept a written quote. Ask about anything unclear before agreeing to the work. Contact Robin.
Prices and scope
Prices in AUD. No GST is added: Numencia is not currently registered for GST. Your domain, email and any agreed third-party charges are separate. Work outside the written scope is explained and priced before it starts. A package does not include unlimited pages, writing, revisions, migrations or integrations. Timing is confirmed in your quote.
Payment and the first look
A 50% deposit holds the dates in the accepted quote. The remaining 50% is due before launch. If you cancel before the interview, that deposit is refunded in full. You see the home page's words and layout before the remaining pages are built. If you choose to stop at that first-look decision, the deposit is refunded in full and the draft is not transferred, published or used. These are alternative circumstances for refunding the same deposit.
The first look includes one list of feedback on the home page. Continuing beyond that decision is confirmed explicitly in writing: requesting a home-page adjustment does not by itself count as approval to continue. If you continue, you then have two rounds of changes to the complete site, each sent as one list. This is not an unlimited redesign or a change to the agreed scope.
If you stop after approving the first look
If you cancel after giving written approval to continue, I account for the agreed work actually completed at $105 an hour. The charge is capped at the accepted project price plus any extras you already approved, with the deposit deducted. The written account shows the work and time, any balance or refund, and the paid material to be handed over. No unworked time or additional cancellation fee is added. These terms do not remove any rights or remedies that apply by law.
Content, access and approval
You provide accurate business information, any qualifications or licence details, domain access, feedback and permission to use supplied content. You confirm the facts and approve the pages before launch. I do not invent reviews, qualifications or results. Photography, logo production and professional legal or clinical review are not included unless separately agreed.
Changes of scope and projects waiting for information
If you request a different scope, I describe the change and price it before doing that work. If an essential item or approval is missing, I send a written reminder identifying what is needed. If it is still missing 30 calendar days after that reminder, the project pauses. We agree a new date, subject to availability, before it resumes. There is no automatic reactivation fee. A pause does not silently approve work, cancel the project or create a new charge.
Ownership and third-party licences
The domain is registered in your name or your business's name. Once the project is paid, the final current site files and the written content created for it are handed over free, with transferable assets and building or hosting instructions. Domain and Search Console accounts remain under your control. Third-party photos, fonts, software and services remain subject to their licences and terms; any required paid licence is identified before purchase. My underlying tools and processes remain mine. Credentials and secret keys are not placed in a handover archive.
Post-launch corrections and separately quoted work
For 30 days after launch, corrections to work that does not match the agreed scope are included. This is not a promise of immediate resolution or a window for new features, and it does not limit rights that apply by law. Further small changes use any valid included credit first. Paid occasional work is $105 an hour, charged in 15-minute blocks with a 15-minute minimum of $26.25. I estimate it before you approve the work. A new layout or feature needs its own agreed scope.
Static website scope
The offer is a static website without a client page-builder dashboard. It does not include an online shop with cart, stock or order management. A booking or simple-payment link or embed into an existing client tool is a separate $270 option on up to two existing pages, after a fit check. It does not include the provider's fees, account approval, a complete booking system or continued operation of that outside service.
Redesign
The Redesign scope covers up to six rebuilt pages, up to 800 rewritten words and up to 25 agreed old page addresses mapped to new destinations. The old-address inventory and technical access are checked before this fixed scope is confirmed. Larger migrations, additional languages, email migration and CMS functionality are excluded unless a separate scope is accepted. Redirects do not guarantee unchanged search rankings or traffic.
The included hosting year and edit credit
The build includes twelve months of hosting from launch and a sixty-minute credit for small website changes during those same twelve months. Request handling, preparation, editing and checking all count within that single hour. It is not an hour each month. The credit is used before paid small-edit work, and unused credit expires after the first twelve months. No new annual or monthly credit renews automatically.
Hosting includes SSL, versioned site copies and the agreed restoration process. It does not include ongoing edits, new content, monthly inspections, Google Profile management, continuous monitoring or an emergency response.
Hosting after year one
After the twelve included months, Hosting is $15 a month only if explicitly chosen. Alternatively, you can take the paid website to another host. The domain, email and outside services remain separate. There is no automatic paid hosting subscription after the included period.
Hands-free changes is separate and optional
Once the included edit credit is used or has expired, you may explicitly choose Hands-free changes at $39 a month if regular requests make it useful. It provides thirty minutes total each paid month for small edits and handling, preparing and checking those requests. Unused monthly time does not roll over. A few occasional updates can instead be quoted individually; a monthly service is not required.
Hosting is not included in the $39. During the first twelve months, hosting is already covered by the build. From month thirteen, choosing Hosting and Hands-free changes together is $54 a month. Their start dates and renewal amounts are agreed separately; no month-four start or fixed number of paid changes months is assumed.
The same supplied hours or photo update may be repeated on an already authorised Google Business Profile within the same thirty-minute total. This does not create a separate allowance. Profile setup, posts, new writing, ongoing optimisation, review QR tools or results are not included.
A page or guide is a separate order
A content piece is $250 for one agreed page or guide of up to 600 words in total, including editorial headings and FAQ, integrated into the Numencia-built site with structured data where relevant. Search titles and descriptions are separate from that word allowance. We agree the subject, facts and access first. It includes one consolidated list of factual corrections before publication, then your approval. Payment for the piece is set out in its quote. No monthly content subscription, unlimited revisions or specialist research is included.
Missing facts or approval for paid work
I send drafts and changes for approval; silence is not permission to publish. If missing facts or approval prevent the next paid month of Hands-free changes from being delivered, I give written notice and suspend that service's next renewal, even if no reply arrives. We agree the next step before another charge. Hosting remains included or separately chosen under its own terms; it is not silently cancelled or newly subscribed. Paid drafts remain available to you. No unlimited backlog or additional credits accumulate.
Stopping a paid monthly service
Cancel Hosting or Hands-free changes at any time. The cancelled service ends at the end of the month you've paid for, with no next charge for it. I confirm the end date and any affected work or amounts in writing. Cancelling the changes service does not cancel hosting that is still included or separately chosen. These terms do not promise an automatic prorated refund or exclude any right to a remedy for undelivered work or a service problem.
If hosting is ending, we confirm the transfer before its end date. The paid final files and moving instructions are handed over free. Help installing the site with another host is estimated separately at $105 an hour before you approve it. Domain, email and outside services remain payable under their own terms.
Choosing after the included hosting year
I send a written reminder before the twelve included months end. You choose Hosting or a handover; there is no automatic subscription. If no choice has been made, there is one 30-calendar-day hosting grace period, without edits, content or a charge. Written notice gives the date before hosting pauses. This grace applies once after the included hosting year, not after each cancellation of a paid service. It does not renew the one-hour edit credit.
Backups, restoration and site archives
While hosting the site, I keep a versioned copy before and after publication, with the current and previous versions available. Restoration uses a checked copy as part of the agreed support process; there is no instant-response or continuous-monitoring promise. After hosting ends, the site archive is retained for 30 days, with an export and that end date supplied. This is a site-file archive period, not a retention period for enquiry or customer personal information.
If my availability changes
Your domain, paid files and written handover remain the basis for continuity. If I stop providing hosting or support, or my availability changes, I confirm the end of support, the work and amounts affected and the transfer in writing. No replacement team, permanent physical presence or round-the-clock personal availability is promised.
Questions and consumer rights
Raise a concern through the contact route stated in your accepted quote. Describe the agreed work and the issue so I can review it and discuss the appropriate next step. No paid agreement is made through this website; it starts with a written quote. Contact options.
Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. The 30-day project correction window is an additional service promise, not the expiry of consumer rights. Read the ACCC's explanation of consumer rights and guarantees. ABN 81 665 847 885.
